New equipment allows creating a three-dimensional multimedia space during the performance. Video and 3D projectors, lighting devices and holographic screens - all this makes it possible to use virtual dynamic scenery.
The puppet theater completely updated its scenic complex. Reconstruction became possible due to the subproject for the preservation and use of the cultural heritage "Small Windows", which is being implemented in the Upper Volga region on the basis of co-financing with the regional budget. The project is being implemented with the fundraising of the resources of the federal budget and loans of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The installation of the latest multimedia equipment, realized by DNK Corporation specialists, made it possible to propel the performances of the Tver Puppet Theater to a qualitatively new level. The main task set by the theater administration was to use the equipment optimally. As a result, light effects, projections onto walls appeared in the performances, which enable to turn an ordinary puppet show into a real three-dimensional show. Thanks to the modern video projection management system, the lighting designer got new possibilities: 3D mapping, creating a 3D image, the ability to use eight projectors simultaneously. A new light management system was developed using the DMX 512 protocol. The entire complex of special lighting and media server is managed from one remote control.
Nowadays there you can see the performances "The Nutcracker", "Cinderella" and "Snow Queen" accompanied by complex visual effects.
Project Result
The puppet theater became one of the five participants of the project in the territory of Tver along with the regional academic philharmonic society, the art gallery, the library of M. Gorky and the Theater for the Young. The unique project is supported from many sides. Regions also take an active part. So the amount of co-financing in this subproject has slightly reached more than 3 million rubles.
